SupportHost affiliate program FAQ

To join the SupportHost affiliate program, register and then from your client area click on “Affiliate”, and to activate your affiliate account simply click the “Activate affiliate account” button.

No, you don’t need any active products with SupportHost to join the affiliate program. Just register, activate your affiliate account, and start promoting.

If you’d like to try the service yourself, you can activate a free trial plan of your choice. Free plans run for 14 days and are automatically deactivated upon expiry.

You don’t necessarily need a website to do affiliate marketing. You can share your affiliate link in other ways too, such as through email campaigns or social media. Check out our tutorial on how to promote a hosting service through channels other than a website.

In the SupportHost affiliate program, you can choose between two commission types:
– 15% recurring
– 40% one-time.

The default option is the recurring 15% commission. To switch to the one-time 40% commission, you’ll need to request it via ticket right after activating your affiliate account (this cannot be changed later).

Commissions apply to the following services:
– shared hosting
– LiteSpeed hosting
– CMS hosting (WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Joomla and Drupal)
– reseller hosting and LiteSpeed reseller
– email hosting.

For dedicated services (dedicated servers, managed and unmanaged cloud VPS), fixed one-time commissions apply per sale:
– Dedicated servers: €20
– Cloud 1: €5
– Cloud 2: €10
– Cloud 3: €15
– Cloud 4: €20

We track all sales through your unique affiliate link. Each time someone clicks your link, a cookie is generated that lasts for 90 days, allowing valid sales to be attributed to you.

If a purchase is made using a discount code linked to your affiliate account, the commission is counted even without a click on the affiliate link.

Yes, from your client area, under the “Affiliate” section, you can generate a 10% discount code to share with your audience. All sales associated with your discount code will count toward your commissions, no affiliate link tracking required.

Since SupportHost offers a money-back guarantee, commissions for valid sales are added to your affiliate account 45 days after the purchase.

Once you reach the minimum threshold of €50, you can request payment via bank transfer or choose to redeem it as account credit to use toward your SupportHost services.

Yes, if you’re a SupportHost customer or plan to purchase a service, you can use your affiliate earnings. Once you reach the minimum threshold of €50, request a credit payout, the amount will be added to your account for use on any SupportHost purchase.

No, you cannot use your affiliate link or affiliate discount code to purchase services for yourself.

Yes, but you must follow certain guidelines. We do not allow the use of the “SupportHost” brand name in paid search advertising campaigns (Pay Per Click or Pay Per Impression).
