I'm a webmaster by profession, before I was on Aruba. I paid a lot for a slow service and almost non-existent assistance. not to mention the site, badly done and an absurd inconvenience. I switched to SupportHost and in 10 days I transferred 5 domains, with relatively little difficulty.
We were no longer satisfied with the old shared hosting, so we decided to "move". A few months later we can only join the ranks of satisfied customers: Competent people, quick answers and competitive prices.
I switched to SupportHost from a much more expensive and emblazoned service. Now my site is much faster and I spend about half of it. Never a problem.
Nothing to suggest! you are always super fast in answering and solving the problem (even at the most unthinkable hours/days). Thanks
Answers always exhaustive and immediate. Thanks!
The support is very good and timely. I managed a SILVER2 business plan for two years without any particular problems and now I have opened a personal SILVER2 plan. Although it is a business plan the performance is good. Very recommended.
On all our servers we use CXS (ConfigServer eXploit Scanner) which allows us to scan all files when they are uploaded to the server. If one of these files contains malware or code commonly used to send spam, it is automatically deleted or quarantined. This is to prevent these files from running on the server.
All servers with shared hosting plans use ClamAV (Clam AntiVirus). This way we are able to identify any malware on your account and scan all emails and the attached files. With SupportHost you have the security to choose one of the best hosting on the market.
Often our customers ask us how we can be sure that we are providing excellent performance for their websites. The answer is simple: servers with high performance and never overloaded.
We only use high-end servers with AMD Ryzen 9 3900 12-Core CPU, 128 GB RAM, NVMe SSD disks to ensure optimal performance for your website.
We avoid overloading the servers, which is what many competitors do, so you can be sure that the server always works perfectly. For this reason we have defined account limits per server that vary according to the resources consumed by each account. Each account is constantly monitored and if it exceeds the resources allocated to it, it’s temporarily suspended. This way it can not cause damage or slowdowns to other accounts on the same web server.
We use OPcache and memcached to make sure that our customers’ sites are performing at their best.
We pay great attention to the security of our customers’ websites. Each account is isolated from the others with to our custom chroot isolation technology. That is, if an account on the server is hacked, the other accounts are safe and cannot be attacked via the web server or cron as in a normal shared environment.
In addition, on all hosting plans we use imunify security to make sure that no file on your account contains malware, and avoid problems with your site before they can even arise.
You can sleep soundly knowing that your site is on one of the most secure platforms on the market.
By purchasing a shared web hosting you are entitled to a free transfer of your website and if your old provider uses cPanel also the emails will be transferred for free. Every day we transfer customers to SupportHost without any website downtime. Your users will not notice anything.
With SupportHost is very easy to change hosting.
During the entire transfer process you don’t have to do anything. We’ll ask you for your old provider’s access data and we’ll take care of the rest.
We are proud about offering one of the best hosting support services. The support, as you can understand from our name, has been our strong point since day one. We are one of the few providers to guarantee a maximum response time by offering a guarantee if we do not respect the promise. We respond to all tickets in the first 2 hours.
In addition, if you think it is appropriate, you can schedule a phone call, and we will call you back when it suits you best.
Even if our shared hosting is cheaper than other hosting solutions, our technical support remains among the best in the industry.
We have a set of proprietary rules to recognize the most common attacks on CMS and mitigate them in real time to avoid problems with our customers’ sites. This way no malicious attacker will be able to access your website using a BruteForce attack.
Our shared hosting service is among the most secure on the market.
A professional hosting provider must offer a reliable backup service to its customers. All of our hosting plans provide backup on an external server. We maintain the last 30 days of backup and give you the opportunity to restore your website from our control panel with jetbackup.
If you want to install a CMS you can do it in two clicks with our free Softaculous installer.
For an extra charge you can have an IP address for your account, so that the IP of your website is only yours, private.
You can also use our site builder to create a showcase website without any knowledge of web design.
If you were looking for the best hosting for your project you have come to the right place.
We care about your privacy. Our service is GDPR compliant and we provide you with the necessary tools to make your project compliant.
Shared hosting is a solution that allows you to have your website online at an affordable price. By dividing the cost of the shared server and the cost of system interventions with many other accounts it is possible to offer a solution at a low cost, still offering a professional service.
Unlike some competitors we do not oversell, i.e. we limit the number of accounts per server, in order to maintain maximum performance for our customers’ websites and guarantee hardware resources for each account.
In this type of hosting, server resources are divided between multiple accounts. This solution allows to reduce costs and give a good web hosting service to those who do not have enough visits to justify the costs of a dedicated solution.
This is opposed to a dedicated hosting, where the customer has access to the resources of the whole machine (real or virtual), for a higher cost of course. An example of this service are virtual private servers (vps hosting), vps cloud hosting or a dedicated server. More expensive services for those who have greater needs such as traffic peaks or need to use non-standard software installed on the server.
The shared web space allows you to host only one site per hosting account. Unlike semidedicated hosting which allows you to host multiple sites on the same account, up to an unlimited number of websites hosted on the same account. With shared hosting you need one hosting account per site.
When you purchase a shared hosting plan you have access to the cPanel control panel, the most used panel in hosting and one of the easiest to use.
Our shared hosting services are an economical yet high-performance solution. Unlike a normal shared plan, WordPress hosting uses LiteSpeed + LSCache for even higher performance and has more resources to support multiple simultaneous visitors.
On shared hosting you have OPcache and memcached.
The domain with SupportHost is included forever in the price, even at renewal. Not all domain extensions are included in the price. During the order you will see the free domain extensions available for the hosting account you choose.
No nasty surprises at renewal for our customers. We, at SupportHost, have decided to have clear prices and to make sure that we do not increase the prices at renewal for our customers. Our shared hosting has maintained the same prices since 2010 although we now offer more resources per account.
All our prices include taxes. You will not see any increase once you get to the payment page. We at SupportHost do everything we can to have clear prices and avoid nasty surprises to customers.
Our data center is located in Germany. From a performance point of view, as long as your website is hosted in Europe (assuming your users are in Europe) there are no differences in terms of performance. Performance is defined by the type of servers used (i.e. hardware) and their connection.
We often receive questions of this kind and unfortunately it is impossible to give a precise answer due to the multitude of contributing factors.
The number of visits that a hosting plan can support depends on two factors:
The case of a static site
Let’s take a simple example to get started. A dynamic site created with a CMS (for example created with WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or any software ecommerce) must generate the HTML code of the page every time a user visits the page. This involves performing a number of calculations and queries on the database (and therefore a consumption of resources). In the case of a static HTML site, the server does not have to do any of these calculations, since the pages are already in HTML on the server. So the only limiting factor will be the monthly traffic. If your pages weigh 1MB each and your account offers a monthly traffic of 20GB your users will be able to view 20,000 pages every month before reaching the limit.
If you want to increase the number of supported users per month it will be necessary to reduce the weight of the page, since it is a simple mathematical calculation.
What if I use a dynamic site instead?
If you’re using a CMS (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or other) on your shared hosting, the situation changes. In this case the server must generate the HTML code for each page visited by your users. Also, you are definitely using plugins (or components) on your site that perform additional calculations. In this case not only monthly traffic is used for each page visited (as in the example above of static site). To perform these calculations we will use server resources such as CPU, RAM, IO and processes. Shared hosting plans provide the necessary resources for a medium-sized site. You can see the limits in our price table.
It is impossible to calculate beforehand how many resources a website might consume, since resource consumption depends on the number of plugins and what they do. If you want to increase the number of supported monthly visitors in this case you can act by reducing the number of plugins and using a cache plugin (which saves HTML code to disk in order to limit the workload on the server).
In conclusion, it is not possible to define beforehand how many resources your website will consume and then how many visits it will be able to support. Our advice is to take a plan that seems suitable to you (or contact us to get our opinion on how many visits your website will have) and in case you need to move to a higher plan in the future, you can do it by paying only the difference.

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee to all new customers, i.e. if for any reason you are not convinced that our service is right for you, you can claim your money back.
If you are not sure how it works and if you will be able to use it, you can try our service for free and without obligation for 14 days. If it doesn’t work for you, just let it expire and you won’t owe us anything.

The following versions are currently available 4.4 / 5.1 / 5.2 / 5.3 / 5.4 / 5.5 / 5.6 / 7.0 / 7.1 / 7.2 / 7.3 / 7.4 / 8.0
If you already have a website and want to change hosting and move to SupportHost all you have to do is order the hosting plan you prefer, we’ll take care of the rest. After you’ve ordered your new hosting account, open a ticket to provide us with your old provider’s access data. We’ll take care of everything by migrating your website for free without any inconvenience and with maximum transparency.
We only want the best for our customers. For this reason we use only top hardware: servers with 128Gb of RAM and NVMe SSD disks to guarantee our customers’ sites the maximum performance.
A well optimized website, hosted with us, can reach loading times of 0.5s. The location of the data center (as long as we stay in Europe) has no influence on the performance of the website. The factors that influence the loading speed of your pages are the connectivity of the server, its hardware and the way it is managed. Obviously the biggest impact on the performance of your website is due to the way your website was created.
Google considers speed as one of the ranking factors, so with SupportHost you are in good hands.
In addition, it is our constant commitment to maintain our IP reputation to the maximum, by blocking the accounts that do not comply with our terms of service and rules of good conduct. This way the reputation of our IPs is always good and our customers do not risk penalties due to the reputation of our IPs.
With SupportHost you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. If you upgrade to a more expensive plan with more resources you will only pay the difference. If you downgrade to a smaller plan, because you are not using all the resources available in your account, we will credit you with the difference as a user credit.
User credit has no expiry and will be used automatically on future invoices.
