404 error

A 4040 error means that the user requested a page that does not exist on the server. This is usually due to a wrong url or a file that has been removed or renamed.

In case you wordpress website shows a 4040 error on all pages, but the homepage works the problem is probably depending to your .htaccess file

To do this access your wordpress admin panel, and go on Settings -> permalink and click save (you don't have to edit them if you don't want to, just save the same settings.
