Position: L2 Linux sysadmin


We are looking for a Linux systems engineer responsible for maintaining, updating and managing our systems, and to handle most support tickets. It is essential to possess problem-solving skills, resourcefulness and the ability to communicate effectively with the internal team that supports the company’s activities. The professional in this position is dedicated to ensuring that the infrastructure always operates at maximum capacity, maintaining high standards of efficiency.

  • Install and configure new servers
  • Monitor performance, uptime and functionality, and maintain a high standard and functionality of operating systems
  • Ensuring security through access control, backups and firewalls
  • Updating and improving systems with proposals and new models
  • Providing assistance to our customers. System troubleshooting and first and second level technical support
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the webhosting business
  • Managing website and email transfers
  • Collaboration with the team to improve the efficiency and reliability of services


  • Availability of 20 hours per week, depending on the candidate we may agree on a different type of arrangement

  • Proven work experience as a systems engineer in the web hosting industry
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
  • Thorough knowledge of Linux operating systems (especially CentOS/RHEL/Almalinux distributions)
  • Knowledge of cPanel/WHM, plesk, email and domain management as system administrator
  • Management of the most commonly used services (such as web servers with dedicated languages, DNS, databases, mail services)
  • Troubleshooting and TCP/IP Network Management
  • Proven experience working with command line
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to solve complex problems in a timely manner
  • Good knowledge of DNS services and domain names
  • 90% of tickets answered within the first hour
  • Maintaining the quality of replies to customers, 90% of replies receiving feedback must get at least 4 stars

Preferential requirements

  • Experience in PHP programming or software development
  • Hypervisor management experience and knowledge of virtualisation platforms
  • Windows Server Management
  • University degree or diploma in Computer Science or related fields
  • Good BASH script development skills
