Your WordPress websites exceedes resource limit

If your wordpress site shows:

Resource Limit Is Reached
The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit

It may happen that after the installation of a new plugin the website uses too much resources and our automates system blocks your account (this is done to avoid server overload).
Usually the cause of this is the wp-cron.php file that get activated every minute, causing an excessive resource usage.

How to avoid this problem

WordPress Cron

To solve this is very easy. We have to avoid to call the file every minute adding this line in the config.php file:

define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true); //Disable page load cron

Since this file has to be called to have wordpress work properly, we will add a cron job every 10 minutes:

*/10 * * * *  php -q /home/USERNAME/public_html/wp-cron.php

Remember to change USERNAME with your cPanel username and double check that the path is correct.
